This Acer Chromebook Spin 314 is one of those laptops that adapts to however you’re working. It runs Chrome OS and has a 360-degree hinge, so you can flip it into laptop mode for typing, tent it up for watching something, or fold it flat into a tablet when you want to use the 14-inch touchscreen. The WUXGA display gives you a bit more screen real estate than standard Full HD, with a 1920 x 1200 resolution, and at 1.57kg, it’s light enough to carry around without thinking about it.

Inside, there’s an Intel N100 processor and 4GB of RAM, which is enough for browsing, streaming, Google Workspace apps, and keeping a few tabs open. You get 128GB of eMMC storage for your files and apps. Battery life sits around 10 hours, so you can work through the day without hunting for a plug socket. It’s got 2 USB 3.2 ports, 1 USB-C port for charging and connecting to external displays, an HDMI port, and a headphone jack. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are built in, and there’s an HD webcam and microphone for video calls. It comes with the laptop, a 65W charger, and a quick start guide.
